ION, a leading Belgian real estate developer, and institutional asset managers Bouwinvest Real Estate Investors and CBRE Global Investment Partners (acting for one of its clients), have together launched the joint venture ION Residential Platform (IRP). Together, they will invest an initial amount of EUR 280 million in the Belgian affordable residential rental market, with ION acting as service provider.
ION Residential Platform will be the very first unlisted institutional housing platform in Belgium, with a focus on sustainable and affordable residential real estate in large Belgian urban areas, such as Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent. Eubelius is proud to have acted as legal advisor to ION in relation to all aspects of the launch of this innovative joint venture.
