Nikolai is a member of the Banking & Finance team, handling banking and financial transactions, with a particular focus on:
- debt capital markets transactions, including EMTN programmes, private placements and public issuances in the US and EU, and commercial paper;
- structured finance transactions, including securitization, transfers of loan portfolios and factoring; and
- debt restructurings.
Nikolai obtained a Master’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Ghent (2016) and a Master’s degree in Law at the same university (2020). He joined Eubelius in 2020 within the Banking & Finance team and became a member of the Brussels Bar the same year.
Over the past years, Nikolai has developed significant experience in the Belgian market, including assistance to WDP with its EUR 3 billion EMTN programme and EUR 500 million green bond issuance (2025), Interparking with its inaugural USD 250 million notes programme (2024), and NMBS / SNCB with the update of its EUR 1.5 billion EMTN programme (2023).
Within the firm, Nikolai is part of the ESG workgroup and follows ESG and sustainability related matters from the perspective of financial transactions.
