Korneel focuses on business taxation, with a particular focus on VAT and real estate taxation. He advises businesses, administrations, and non-profit institutions on all aspects of Belgian tax law, and represents his clients during tax audits and before tax courts.
He has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2006 and partner at Eubelius since 2022.
In 2006, Korneel obtained a law degree from the KU Leuven, followed by a Master in Tax Management at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics in 2008. In 2012, he followed a postgraduate course in corporate finance at the KU Leuven.
He is also a guest lecturer in the postgraduate programme on Tax Law and Tax Practice at the Fiscale Hogeschool (KU Leuven) and the postgraduate property studies from the KU Leuven Kortrijk Campus/KU Leuven.
He has been a member of the Brabant Professional Association for Taxation and Accounting (BAB – Brabant) since 2009.
Korneel regularly writes articles on tax topics and acts as speaker at seminars. He is fluent in Dutch, English and French.
