Eubelius acted as counsel to WDP in the negotiation of a financing package with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group. Several loans will be issued by IFC, directly and through the mobilisation of third-party resources, for a total amount of approximately EUR 205 million.
The proceeds will be used exclusively to fund newly built sustainable development projects at important logistics hubs that will be EDGE certified (green standard certification). In this respect, WDP has updated its Green Finance Framework, which is aligned with the international Green Loan Principles.
