On 28 September 2021 the Flemish Government and the Federal Government announced, together with ArcelorMittal, a joint investment of €1.1 billion with a view to substantially reducing the CO2 emissions of the steel production in Ghent. This investment runs partially through Finocas NV, a joint venture of the Flemish Region and ArcelorMittal Belgium. Eubelius has assisted the board of directors and the management of Finocas during the negotiations and will continue to do so during the further realisation of the transaction.

The Eubelius team consists of Marieke Wyckaert, Thomas Donnez and Anouk Kerkhofs.
