Eubelius assisted Warehouses De Pauw (WDP) with the entry into a EUR 440 million syndicated loan facility with a consortium of international banks.
The proceeds of the loan will be used to fund the company’s pre-let real estate developments and energy as a business-strategy in accordance with WDP’s Green Finance Framework.
With this financing, WDP further strengthens its liquidity and diversification profile and secures green financing at competitive conditions in a market environment in which financing has become more restrictive.
Eubelius has assisted WDP on all aspects of the financing as sole counsel to the borrower. The Eubelius team consisted of Thomas Donnez, Sabe De Graef and Isabelle Lefever on the financing side and Wouter Claes and Chiara Marina on the tax side.
