Eubelius assists SFPI-FPIM and Sabena Aerospace in the acquisition of SABCA from Dassault Belgique Aviation

On 5 February 2020, SFPI-FPIM and Sabena Aerospace signed an agreement with Dassault Belgique Aviation (a company in the Dassault group) pursuant to which Dassault will sell its entire 96.85% shareholding in SABCA to a new joint venture company to be established by SFPI-FPIM and Sabena Aerospace for a total consideration of more than EUR 74 million.

SABCA is a tier 1 world-leading multi-technology aerospace supplier with more than 900 employees, serving the world’s leading aircraft and space launcher manufacturers. SABCA is listed on the Euronext stock market (EBR: SAB) and conducts its operations in the three Belgian regions and has one facility in Morocco.

The closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing obligations.
