Fire Holding GmbH, a portfolio company of private equity fund Deutsche Beteiligungs AG Fund VIII, successfully completed the acquisition of the ABBS group in October 2021. The ABBS group is a Belgian-headquartered supplier of automatic fire extinguishing systems, with offices in Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Hungary and Poland. Its range of services includes the design, installation, repair and maintenance of various types of fire extinguishing systems.
Eubelius advised on all Belgian aspects of the transaction, with POELLATH (Germany) acting as lead counsel and Houthoff providing Dutch law advice.
