On 12 October 2017, Care Property Invest, the real estate investment trust (BE-REIT) specialised in health care real estate for the elderly and people with disabilities, launched a public capital increase in cash with irreducible allocation right for existing shareholders in order to finance its announced investment pipeline as part of its growth plan.

During the subscription period with irreducible allocation rights, 67.27% of the total number of new shares offered were subscribed. The remaining offered shares were sold in an exempt accelerated private placement in the form of scrips. This transaction allowed CPI to raise approximately 72 million euros.

Eubelius advised CPI on the fulfilment of this successful capital increase. The team members involved in this transaction are Filip Jenné, Tim Van Moorhem, Joris De Wolf, Anthony Van Besien and Eva Milants.
