Thomas mainly focuses on advisory work in corporate law and real estate law, and on dispute resolution and litigation in commercial and corporate matters. He represents clients on a regular basis before the Belgian courts and appeal courts and has a broad experience in drafting and enforcement of complex contracts (EPC(M), FIDIC-suite,…).
Thomas was previously a member of the Brussels Bar and joined Eubelius and the Bar of West-Flanders in 2015.
He obtained his law degree at the Universiteit Gent (UGent, 2011) and in 2012 he obtained the degree of “Master Complémentaire en Droit Économique” at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB, 2012). In 2016, Thomas also obtained the degree of Master in Corporate Law at the KU Leuven.
Thomas is a part-time teaching assistant at the Department of Interdisciplinary Study of Law, Private Law and Business Law at Universiteit Gent. He regularly gives lectures on corporate and real estate law and is the author of several publications. He delivered the opening oration of the judicial year 2016-2017 of the Bar of Kortrijk.
