Eubelius assisted CubeCold Europe in realising a sustainable cold storage facility in Evergem. The state-of-the-art facility for Northfreeze (part of CubeCold Europe) is designed to accommodate approximately 54,000 pallets and will be equipped with the latest technologies. Sustainability is a top priority for CubeCold Europe, which aims to achieve full “BREEAM Excellent” certification for the site. For example, the new cold storage facility will be equipped with, among other things, a PV system and an advanced residual heat network to heat the integrated offices.

The new site is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2025.
