Sofie Maertens is an attorney at Eubelius. She focuses on real estate law in the broadest sense (including purchase agreements, options, long lease, building rights, easements and co-ownership), lease law (with a focus on commercial and office leases) and construction law (drawing up and negotiating agreements, expert research, liability law, provisional and final acceptance, subcontracting).
Sofie became a member of the Dutch-speaking association of the Brussels Bar in 2024 and joined Eubelius the same year. She also works as a teaching assistant at KU Leuven Kortrijk Campus since 2026.
In 2023, she obtained her master’s degree in law from KU Leuven. Subsequently, in 2024, she earned an advanced master’s degree in notarial law from the same university.
She handles cases in English, Dutch and French.
