The Council of Ministers of 6 July 2018 approved the first management agreement between the State and the Federal Holding and Investment Company (SFPI-FPIM). SFPI-FPIM is the federal shareholding entity which is responsible for the management of the federal government’s shareholdings but also pursues its own investment policy.

Eubelius assisted the State and SFPI-FPIM in drafting the management agreement and in developing the necessary legal basis. The introduction of a management agreement for SFPI-FPIM follows on the recommendations of a previous study by KPMG and Eubelius regarding the shareholding policy of the State and the role of SFPI-FPIM.

The Eubelius team acting in this matter consisted of Jeroen Delvoie, Claire Fornoville and Steven Declercq.
