Companies have a key role to play in tackling the current social, environmental and cultural challenges. It is in this dynamic context that Eubelius presents its second Sustainable Development Report.

The report reveals what has been achieved during the period 2018–2020. We are maintaining our social and cultural commitments, and diversity is becoming an increasingly important theme. We have supported social and cultural organisations during the pandemic. The chapter on diversity is the most innovative: as well as describing the current picture, we publish objective figures which will allow us to monitor our future progress. This is not about following a trend, and it is certainly not about changing our corporate culture. It is about moving forwards, matching the diversity in our world, and bringing people from different backgrounds together to meet the challenges of the future.

Biodiversity and climate change remain a fundamental concern in our CSR policy, even if they do not make the headlines in this report. Concerning mobility, we are setting the pace with our cycling policy, and the use of hybrid vehicles is increasing. We are on the right track with improvements to the environmental performance of our buildings, including waste management. Thanks to these initiatives, we hope to renew the “eco-dynamic label” for our Brussels office soon.
