A cross-practice team of specialists in tax and administrative law and data protection, led by Svjatoslav Gnedasj and Bart Martel, have successfully represented bpost in proceedings before the Council of State against a municipal tax regulation concerning the distribution of advertising materials. The case concerned, among other legal issues, the protection of fundamental rights and principles such as the confidentiality of mail correspondence and the privacy of mail recipients.
