Ignace focuses on contract and tort litigation and arbitration in various sectors in both national and cross-border matters. A substantial part of his practice concerns regulated sectors. He also guides clients in negotiating, drafting and optimising contracts and is regularly involved in drafting legislation. His work also includes writing legal expert opinions for foreign disputes.

Ignace has been an attorney at Eubelius and a member of the Brussels Bar since 2001. He became a partner in January 2007.

After having obtained his law degree at the University of Leuven in 1994, Ignace studied abroad for two years, first in Germany and then at the University of Chicago. In 2002 he finished writing his Ph.D. on liability in linked contracts.

Ignace also serves as a half-time professor at the law faculty of the University of Ghent since 2007. He teaches Law of Obligations (basic and advanced course) and European Contract Law.

He regularly publishes articles on contractual and tortious issues and is a sought-after speaker.
