Aube specialises in constitutional and administrative law. She focuses on legal protection against government action, division of powers, government liability, human rights and environmental law. She provides support in administrative disputes before the courts, including the Constitutional Court, the Council of State and other administrative authorities, and courts.
She has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2002 and was appointed as Of Counsel at Eubelius on 1 August 2013.
Aube obtained her Master's degree at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 1997, where she also obtained a PhD in Law in 2002 with her thesis on the ex officio advancing of grounds by the Council of State in the framework of the appeal for annulment of administrative legal acts.
She is the Chairman of the Constitutional and Administrative Law Department and a law professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where she teaches Constitutional law, Legal protection against the State and Climate and Environmental law. Since 2014, Aube is also a member of the Commission for access to administrative documents.
Aube is a member of the editorial board of various public law magazines.
She has authored numerous publications on constitutional and administrative law and regularly speaks at seminars on these subjects.
