Warehouses De Pauw (WDP), assisted by Eubelius, successfully issued and placed EUR 100 million in green bonds with MetLife, a leading international insurance group. The 2.62% notes are denominated in euros and have a tenure of 11 years.
WDP is a listed pan-European player specialising in logistics and semi-industrial property. The net proceeds from these bonds will be used exclusively to finance or refinance eligible green assets such as green buildings, renewables, energy efficiency programmes, etc.
The team members involved in the transaction were Lars Van Bever, Thomas Donnez and Sabe De Graef.
