Lode Van Dessel is a Senior Attorney at Eubelius. He is active in tax law and focuses entirely on indirect taxation, with a strong emphasis on VAT.
Lode handles specific VAT issues relating to the public sector, the healthcare sector, real estate projects, public-private partnerships, international trade and logistics, travel agents, financial services and the indirect tax aspects within M&A projects.
Lode joined the Dutch-speaking Association of the Brussels Bar in 2021, after a career as a tax consultant. He joined Eubelius as a Senior Attorney in 2025.
Lode holds a Law degree from KU Leuven (2018) and obtained a complementary master’s degree in tax management and a certificate in international taxation from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics (2020).
Lode regularly speaks at seminars. He is fluent in English, Dutch and French.
