Claire focuses her practice mainly on corporate law and public economic law. She holds particular expertise in state-owned enterprises, government corporations and other public economic entities. Claire also assists clients in matters relating to public and administrative law.
She has been attorney since 2011. Claire joined Eubelius in 2014 and again in 2026. Between 2022 and 2026, Claire focused on academic research. From 2012 to 2014, Claire assisted the federal government in the context of the Sixth State Reform as an advisor on institutional matters. Claire is currently a member of the Antwerp Bar.
Claire obtained her law at the University of Antwerp in 2011. In 2011, she obtained an additional master's degree in Comparative, International and European Law at the Universität Mannheim, Germany.
Claire is a research associate at KU Leuven and the University of Antwerp, where she is preparing a PhD on the Accountability of State-Owned Enterprises with comparative law with Germany and the United States. She is a member of the Belgian Centre for Company Law. Previously, she was a voluntary scientific collaborator at UCLouvain Saint-Louis (Brussels) and a member of the Centre Interdisciplinary de Recherches en droit Constitutionnel et Administratif. From 2013 to 2016, she was also an assistant in Constitutional Law at the same university.
Claire regularly writes articles and lectures on corporate law, public law and public economic matters.
Claire is fluent in Dutch, French and English. She also has a good knowledge of German.
