Julie is part of the tax team.
She has been an attorney at Eubelius and a member of the Dutch-speaking association of the Brussels Bar since 2021.
Julie obtained a law degree at UHasselt in 2016. She obtained a PhD in law at the same university in 2021, with a dissertation focusing on the recovery of unlawful fiscal State aid in Belgium. In 2022, Julie obtained a master’s degree in tax law at the Université libre de Bruxelles.
From 2016 until 2021, she worked as a PhD researcher at UHasselt (Law, Tax & Business Unit). During her research, she was also active as a visiting researcher at the Universidad de Alicante (Grupo de Derecho financiero y tributario) in 2017 and at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law) in 2019.
Julie is the author of several publications on taxation and State aid. She remains affiliated to UHasselt (Law, Tax & Business Unit) as a Research Fellow.
She handles cases in Dutch, English and French.
