Elsbeth specialises in general public and administrative law, with a focus on administrative procedural law, public service law and expropriations.
She provides targeted, practical legal advice to her clients and represents them in administrative appeal procedures and legal proceedings before tribunals, courts and administrative jurisdictions.
In 2007 she became a member of Hasselt Bar and in 2017 she transferred to the Brussels Bar and has since become a Senior Attorney at Eubelius.
In 2007, Elsbeth completed a Master's degree in Law at KU Leuven. In 2009, she began to combine her work as a lawyer with a position as an assistant at Hasselt University, where she obtained her doctorate in 2016. Her thesis was entitled "The Right of Access to the Council of State as a Court of Cassation".
Elsbeth has been the coordinator, the co-convenor and a member of the teaching team for a number of courses at Hasselt University in the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Business Economics. She has also occasionally taught at universities in Spain and the United Kingdom, and she regularly publishes academic contributions on administrative (procedural ) law.
