Dewandeleer Dirk

Dirk Dewandeleer became a partner at Eubelius in 2005. He holds a law degree from the University of Leuven (1993) and a degree in criminology from the University of Ghent (1986).

His practice focuses on white-collar crime and includes counselling and representing individuals and companies facing criminal investigation as well as the injured parties pursuing claims.

Prior to becoming a member of the Brussels Bar in 2000, Dirk served for 18 years as an officer in the Belgian Federal Police, 11 years of which he spent working in the Legal Department of the Corps.

Dirk has also been actively involved with the Institute for Criminal Law of the University of Leuven, and he still teaches at the University of Brussels (HUB) and at the Officers’ Academy of the Belgian Federal Police.

He is the author of several scholarly publications and a frequent speaker in the field of criminal law.
